I recently was trying to find a loan calculator on the internet.   Used to be when you searched for “loan calculator” or something similar, you would get links to free calculators.  Now days it seems that everyone is trying to sell you something.  Anyway after doing some poking around, I finally found one that is easy to use.   They even go so far as to let you add it to your website so I did.  Under pages in the right column, just click on Loan Calculator or here.

Recently I was asked to create a website for chiropractors to reference when they need their own website.   This got me to thinking to how I could help the chiropractors so I created a website for a fictitious  chiropractor called Ainsworth Chiropratic Center.  The idea was to give a chiropractor a starting point of ideas for when he/she decides that it time to create their own.

In the seminar that I attended three weeks ago I was a little surprised to learn that some of the chiropractors did not have a web site, nor did they really know what it took to get one.  There were actually  both ends of the spectrum there, those that knew little and those that know a lot.

As a result of this initial request  I am can now create a website for a chiropractor fairly quickly.  If you know of anyone needing a website, I would be glad to help them get started at a reasonable. Just click on the link to see the Ainsworth Chiropractic Center.

You may ask what do veterinarians or chiropractors have in common.  I was curious myself so when a friend of mine (JC)  asked if I would help him at veterinarians/chiropractors conference I readily accepted.  (JC was the keynote speaker and wanted to make sure that his computer was performing as it should and be available if he should experience any problems.)

Over time veterinarians have started using chiropractic services in the care of animals and a number of them have become licensed in this care for animals.  When the seminar started, the president of the association gave a quick talk on the need to respect the discipline of the other.  Other words, if you are licensed for animals, don’t practice on people.

I learned a lot at the conference, met a number of people and had some great meals.  Would I attend again, you bet.

One of my main interests in the seminar is that I am providing websites for chiropractors and it gave me a chance to get my name out there.  Here is a link to a sample website that can be used as starter.

Have you ever struggled with getting back links to your website in order to improve the web searches?  I have greatly.

Recently one of my fellow internet markets sent me an email on an idea that the author says works quite well. Basically it is commenting on site blogs or where ever comments are allowed that allows the inclusion of a web address. When you post your comments, make sure they are in-line with the owners post or your comment may get removed.

The following Google search strings will return very specific sites that may fit your needs. Be sure and replace “YOUR KEYWORD” with your own keyword.  Do not change anything else.  Just put the entire string into the Google search line.

site:.com inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “YOUR KEYWORD”
site:.org inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “YOUR KEYWORD”
site:.edu inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “YOUR KEYWORD”
site:.gov inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “YOUR KEYWORD”

You should try to find a site where you can place a comment in each of the urls (.com,.org,.edu, and .gov).  From my own experience, you may not find a keyword match on one of them extensions.  Just move on.
